Chel & Riley Go Back to School: A Tale of Friendship, Forgiveness, and Faith
After a summer full of excitement, Riley and Chel are ready to tackle fourth grade with high hopes. But as soon as school starts, they’re met with unexpected challenges. Chel’s new teacher, who was also her estranged father’s teacher, immediately brands her as a troublemaker. Riley faces his own struggles with a group of bullies who try repeatedly to provoke him, eventually scheming to get him expelled.
With Riley in serious trouble, Chel takes on the role of detective, determined to prove his innocence before it’s too late. Along the way, a humble school janitor reminds both of them of God’s power and presence in their lives. Chel must also face the tough question of forgiveness, as she confronts her feelings about her absent father. Meanwhile, Riley is torn between giving up or trusting in God and the wise advice of Mr. Henry.
Through this adventure, Riley and Chel will learn valuable lessons about faith, forgiveness, and the strength found in trusting God, no matter the challenges they face.
